The Universal Book of Mormon

About:

This version of the Book of Mormon was created to help those transitioning between Latter Day Saint or Mormon denominations. The goal is to make accessing this book of scripture, with the different chaptering, versing, and sections, easier to navigate.

The Book of Mormon is a sacred text for the Latter Day Saint movement. It was first published in March 1830 by Joseph Smith Jr. as “The Book of Mormon: An Account Written by the Hand of Mormon upon Plates Taken from the Plates of Nephi.” Changes to the text from the original 1830 edition are in italics. In addition, as noted, differences from the King James Bible to the translation of the same books are also in italics.

It is our prayer that this edition will help unify the Saints that Israel may gather, and Zion be established.

The Book of Avahr

About:

The history of the Latter Day Saints, a collective of restorational Christian denominations, begins with the shared history found within the Book of Avahr. “Avahr” is Hebrew for “past.”

This book tells the story of Joseph Smith Jr.; his birth, obtaining, and “translating” (divining) the Gold Plates into the sacred text we know today as the Everlasting Gospel: The Book of Mormon. And, it includes the revelations he received prior to the formation of the original Church of Christ.

The Book of Remembrance

About:

With the exception of the first three chapters, the Book of Remembrance is a series of revelations David Ferriman, First Elder of the Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship received in January of 2016. This work will help guide readers in preparing for and understanding the purpose of the Latter Day Saint or Mormon Endowments. These are not secret works of the occult, but rather sacred works of the Lord. They are not a light to be hidden under a bushel, but rather to be place upon a hill. It is our prayer that Latter Day Saints of all denominations may use these revelations, with the scriptures of their branches of the kingdom, to better understand the works of the Lord.

This edition contains just the Book of Remembrance, no additional revelations have been added.

The Book of Remembrance and Other Visions, Dreams, and Revelations

About:

With the exception of the first three chapters, the Book of Remembrance is a series of revelations David Ferriman, First Elder of the Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship received in January of 2016.  It is our prayer that Latter Day Saints of all denominations may use these revelations, with the scriptures of their branches of the kingdom, to better understand the works of the Lord.

This edition includes other dreams, visions, and revelations given to David Ferriman, the First Elder and co-president of the Fellowship of Christ through 2018.

The Book of Enoch

About:

This version of the Book of Enoch was taken from the 1917 edition translated by R.H. Charles. It has been slightly altered by David Ferriman, the First Elder of the Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship. These alterations include re-chaptering, re-versification, and being broken into the following seven sections:

  • The Book of the Watchers
  • The Book of Parables of Enoch
  • The Book of Celestial Luminaries
  • The Book of Dreams and Visions
  • The Epistle of Enoch
  • Extract from the Prophecy of Enoch (Joseph Smith Jr.)
  • Appendix to the Book of Enoch

Extract from the Prophecy of Enoch comes from Joseph Smith Jr.’s Old Testament Revision 1, pages 12-19. This short text records Enoch’s call to his ascension into Heaven with the city of Zion.

Ordinances of the Saints

About:

This second edition of Ordinances of the Saints is a pocket size (4.25 x 6.875 in / 108 x 175 mm) quick reference guide to Priesthood ordinances for the Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship. This should not be seen as Law, or set in stone. It is a guide for those that are new or need reminding on various ordinances. It is also to help perspective brothers and sisters wishing to enter the ministry.

From the Church to the Kingdom

About:

Alfred Loisy famously wrote: “Jesus preached the Kingdom, but what came was the church.” In the year 2000, a thought came to rest very powerfully in my conscience. “It is the end of the Church Age and the beginning of the Kingdom Age.” Despite the emphasis many place on the church, Jesus mentioned the church only twice in all four Gospels. By way of contrast, He spoke continually about the Kingdom.
